April 27th @3 Mug Making Class
Join me for a pottery class where I will teach you how to build your own mug!
I this class you will learn pinch pot and some coil techniques in order to make your own dream mug. This class is beginner friendly. :)
The first half of the class will be focused on making your mug. The second half will be painting and decorating. We will be using a brown speckled clay or a white clay. Example of each in the photos above. If painting your mug isn’t your vision you may leave it raw and allow the natural look of the clay to shine through.
After the class once everything is completely dry, your mugs will be bisque fired in the kiln then either dipped in a clear glaze or lined with a white glaze and fired again.
Mugs will be available for pickup in 2-3 weeks- you will be notified via email when they are ready.
Length: approx 2-2.5 hours
Class includes:
All materials needed to create your own unique mug
All instruction/ guidance needed to create your piece
Light drinks and snacks
** Due to unpredictable nature of ceramics (especially during the kiln firing process) pieces made in class have potential to crack, break, or blister. I will do my best to ensure your work survives the firing, but will not be held responsible for undesired results.
** All class purchases are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel for any reason, please email demi@sundayreveriestudio.com 72 hours before class to manage any necessary changes. Any changes within 72 hours of class are not guaranteed.
